About me
Katerina Alda is a conservator with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Textile Art and Craft.
She has done work for both private clients as well as large institutions, such as The Maritime Command Museum in Halifax, Parks Canada in Dartmouth, the New Brunswick Museum in Saint John, the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, the Bytown Museum in Ottawa.
Katerina currently works from her Halifax studio, where she offers stabilization, restoration and preservation along with recommendations for the display and storage of textile artifacts.
